Inside a letter towards the committee, Alimani authored: " 'Forgiveness of Blood' does not fulfil all of the necessary needs through the Academy since its director and co-author are American, along with other key creative components like cinematographer, music composer and editor are American people too.Inch There have been three other Albanian films that met the committee's own selection criteria, Alimani stated. "I strongly protest this decision since clearly the details of mine and Joshua's production credits happen to be overlooked and falsified through the determining committee," he alleges. "I request that you simply disqualify 'Forgiveness of Blood' from consideration inside your nomination which you instruct the committee in Albania to satisfy again making its decision in line with the criteria set because of your academy. " There is no immediate response in the selection committee, which in fact had made obvious the reason why because of its choice once the decision was released. The committee, comprised of film industry professionals, Teodor Laco, Esat Musliu, Bujar Lako, Durim Neziri and Agron Tufa, mentioned the film was Albanian language, among the screenwriters, Andamion Murataj, was Albanian, as was the whole cast, the co-producer Lissus Media is Albanian, and the majority of the crew, and also the film was shot positioned on location in Albania. They added: "The film continues to be well accepted through the audience and experts alike for that original and fresh method of an problem still highly relevant to society.Inch Your decision has sparked a media storm within the small Balkans condition that lies to northern A holiday in greece and it has a barren, Adriatic shoreline left largely undeveloped 2 decades following the collapse of Enver Hoxha's paranoid and secretive professional-Chinese communist regime. The Mentalist: Has Patrick Jane Been Framed for Murder?
Simon Baker, The Mentalist The Mentalist's third season literally ended with a bang when Patrick Jane (Simon Baker) gunned down a man he believed to be Red John (Bradley Whitford), the serial killer who killed Jane's wife and child.Fall Preview: Get scoop on your favorite returning showsBut did he really kill Red John? "There's a lot of questions to be answered," creator Bruno Heller tells TVGuide.com of the Season 4 premiere (Thursday, 10/9c, CBS). "If that was Red John, then Red John was still one jump ahead of him because he was able to frame him for killing an innocent man."Indeed, Jane pleads that Red John was holding him at gunpoint and received a call from his mole, the now-deceased FBI Agent O'Loughlin (Eric Winter), just moments before the fatal shooting. Unfortunately for Jane, no record of the call exists and the gun was nowhere to be found at the crime scene. So the next stop for Jane is prison, which Heller says Jane actually finds...enjoyable. "He's actually quite comfortable in that world. He likes the solitude," Heller says."He had been kind of taking the prison stay as a kind of spa-relaxation time out. There's time for him to think, and when he realizes that the case is more complicated than Lisbon [Robin Tunney] and the rest of the guys can handle, he gets himself out."The Mentalist: Did Patrick Jane really kill Red John?Complicating matters for the team is that, because of their participation in Jane's hunt for Red John's mole, they have all been suspended. "The team is also in deep trouble because they essentially engineered a disaster," Heller says. "An FBI agent is dead. It's not that they're going to go to jail for O'Loughlin's murder, but the FBI doesn't take kindly to any kind of bad PR or mess that they're not in control of."That ultimately will lead to the hiring of a new CBI boss, Luther Wainright (Michael Rady). "He's a young guy who tries a completely different way of dealing with the CBI and Jane," Heller teases. "He's more a touchy-feely kind of guy. I think Jane finds it kind of refreshing. The guy's not stupid, and what Jane loves above anything else is a novel challenge. So any fresh target/victim/colleague/antagonist is meat and drink to him."Is that to suggest Jane, after perhaps killing his nemesis, will have a new spring in his step? Not necessarily. "It's definitely a different Jane, but just in the sense that time changes everyone," Heller says. "He's a wiser. He's learned that a whole new level of cunning and manipulation is going to be required to keep moving forward."Mentalist Scoop: Patrick Jane to lock horns with The Shield's Catherine Dent Could that mean that - gulp! - Red John is still out there? Did Jane really kill an innocent man? Heller promises that the premiere will give you a definitive answer. "By the end, we will at least know what Jane thinks," he says. "And Jane is a pretty smart guy."The Mentalist premieres Thursday at 10/9c on CBS. Watch a sneak peek of the premirere below: Watch X-Men: First Class Full Movie

I'm Yours
An Entertainment One (in Canada) release of a New Real Films production. Produced by Jennifer Jonas, Avi Federgreen, Mallary Davenport. Executive producer, John Hamilton. Directed, written by Leonard Farlinger. With: Rossif Sutherland, Karine Vanasse, Don McKellar, Nicolas Campbell.Even at 79 minutes, "I'm Yours" still manages to overstay its welcome. Entirely predictable and instantly forgettable, this formulaic road movie is all the drearier for following two traveling companions who, despite a steamy interlude in a motel room, generate precious little onscreen chemistry. Individually, leads Rossif Sutherland and Karine Vanasse hit random grace notes while struggling with sketchy roles and gaping plotholes, but they do little to distract from the shopworn contrivances of writer-director Leonard Farlinger's scenario. After a spin on the fest circuit, this Canadian comedy-drama will go nowhere fast. Robert (Sutherland), a Manhattan stockbroker mending after a recent heartbreak, enjoys a night of sexual healing with Daphne (Vanasse), a lovely stranger he meets in a bar. Come morning, however, Daphne blackmails him into joining her on a bus trip back to Northern Ontario, where she plans to introduce him to her long-estranged parents as her fiance. Little of what happens next is credible or compelling -- the inevitable happy ending is a logic-free zone -- but lenser Jonathon Cliff makes some of the Ontario locales appear quite attractive. Sigourney Weaver 'Not Holding Breath' For 'Ghostbusters 3'
Woe is the plight of the new "Ghostbusters" movie. Despite all the good intentions, the cast being excited to get together again, director Ivan Reitman onboard, and a script by "Year One" writers Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky in second draft stage, there's really no plan for when and if the production will begin. MTV News caught up with potential star Sigourney Weaver at the premiere of her new film "Abduction" last night to see if there was any new news to report about the film, and most importantly, if she'd heard anything from notoriously elusive Bill Murray. "I see Bill every now and then, [but] I'm not holding my breath," she admitted. "I'd like it to work out. I have about six movies coming out so I've been busy without thinking about it, but I hope we do do it." Weaver didn't seem too excited to talk about the project and its perpetual in limbo state, and we couldn't get her to speculate further on what the plot might revolve around. She once hinted that Murray's character Pete Venkman might appear in the movie as a slimer ghost, and that Oscar, her character's son from the second movie, would be a full-fledged Ghostbuster, which would be hilarious, but doubtful that it will come to be. Meanwhile one of the film's biggest cheerleaders, Dan Aykroyd, has said that they will proceed with or without Murray. "What we have to remember is that 'Ghostbusters' is bigger than any one component, although Billy was absolutely the lead and contributed to it in a massive way, as was the director and Harold [Ramis], myself and Sigourney [Weaver]." Aykroyd said. "The concept is much larger than any individual role and the promise of 'Ghostbusters 3' is that we get to hand the equipment and the franchise down to new blood."
