Universal makes distribution pact with Mix Creek

Universal Pictures makes a 3 year distribution cope with Mix Creek Pictures.Within the 3 years, U will distribute six films to become funded by Mix Creek. First title up may be the Ron Howard-helmed "Hurry" starring Chris Hemsworth.Mix Creek's recent credits include "Black Swan" and Sony's "The Ides of March."The studio and Mix Creek will also be searching through Universal's current development slate for potential projects the shingle could produce and finance.The joint announcement, made Wednesday, revealed that Mix Creek could come onto produce and finance Universal's "The Creed of Violence," with Todd Area mounted on direct from their own script.The businesses stated your budget range for Mix Creek game titles will fall between $15 million and $sixty five million, by having an average price of $25 million to $35 million. Mix Creek has joined with Exclusive Media Group on "Hurry," "Ides of March" and "Lady in Black." Mix Creek and Exclusive co-funded and co-created "Hurry" and "Ides" and Mix Creek acquired US privileges to "Lady in Black," then offered individuals to CBS Films.
